Individual and Couples Therapy
No one person is the same. Once I understand your unique story, I can help you begin healing the effects of negative experiences, repetition of stuck patterns, and loss of self-esteem, helping you make positive changes so you can move forward with greater satisfaction in your personal and professional life.
In our sessions, we’ll identify your goals for therapy, learn where you are struggling, and collaborate on solutions that you can use for the rest of your life.
Outside of our time together, you can expect to have reflective “homework” assignments that will prompt you to experiment in real life, giving you tools to help you create meaningful change.
What you can expect when working with me…
I help adults and couples in midlife and beyond — professionals, caregivers, and seniors — facing stress, career, caregiving, or health challenges, relationship strains, or feeling stuck or unsure of what’s next. Together, we work to navigate these life transitions and find clarity, emotional balance, and a renewed sense of direction.
I also support women through midlife transitions, including menopause and cancer.
I specialize in helping clients with anxiety, depression, chronic stress, burnout, grief and loss, using evidence-based strategies to build resilience, improve communication, and make meaningful life changes.
Specialities
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) has proven to be one of the most effective forms of therapy for anxiety disorders, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorders.
CBT teaches you how to systematically look at situations in your life differently and learn strategies to stop patterns of negative thinking. You’ll be able to manage your emotions and unhealthy thinking patterns, and cope with stressful life situations better.
Mindfulness Therapy has been shown to be highly effective in improving symptoms of anxiety, stress, depression, pain and insomnia.
Mindfulness practices teach us to train attention and awareness and develop greater clarity and balance in our hectic lives.
You will learn to accept and replace negative thoughts and reactions, develop a non-judgmental attitude and bring your awareness to the present moment.
